The journalist and sports narrator Paulo Soares, better known as Buddy, died on Monday 29, at 63 in San Paolo. He had been hospitalized for about five months at the Syrian Lebanese hospital.

In a note published Monday, Espn Brasil, where he worked, said that Paulo fought for years against various health problems, including one in the column. The journalist had a multiple body failure, says the note.

Born in Goiânia (GO), Amigão began his career at the age of 15, at the Radio de Araras club, Araras (SP).

After work on various radios, the narrator and the guest emigrated to television and had stations in broadcasters such as SBT, records, cultures and gazeta.

His main work was at Epn Brazil, where he commanded the SPORTGENER Next to Antero Greco, who died last year.

Together with his bench colleague, he became one of the most loved professionals of Brazilian sports journalism.
