HummingBird pronounces on bullshit involving Giovanna Lancellotti

Nilópolis Hummingbird Samba School has released an official declaration by denying voices on an alleged disagreement between the actress Giovanna Lancellotti and the actor Samuel de Assis. The note was issued on Thursday (2/10) in response to the accusations that Lancellotti would have interfered to replace Assisi in a presentation during the final of the association’s samba-pilot competition.

In a note sent to the column of Fabia Oliveira, the association contested the accusations. “Hummingbird by Nilópolis clarifies that it is not true that the actress Giovanna Lancellotti cut the actor Samuel de Assis from the presentation of the final of the Samba competition or has changed the script of the show,” said the school.

Hummingbird explained that the presentation followed the original planning. “The script was previously defined by choreographers and fully satisfied, in a collective work with artists and invited members of the community,” said the association in his declaration.

The rumors started after the Extra Giornale published that Samuel de Assis, part of the cast of the subsequent soap opera 21h, “Tre Graces”, was informed about its moments of replacement before the presentation. The newspaper mentioned sources linked to the Nilópolis school which attributed the change to the direct intervention of Lancellotti. One of these sources said to Extra that “he called to order her to hit the ritual on stage”.

The event took place on the Beija-Flor field, located in Nilópolis, in the Rio de Janeiro Baixada, during the final of the school plot competition of the school.

The publication of Extra also presented declarations of people related to the association that contradict the official version.
