The model and presenter Vera Viel celebrated her fiftieth birthday on Friday evening, the 10th, with a luxury party at the Welucci Gardens, in the West Zone of Sao Paulo. The date also marks one year since Rodrigo Faro’s 51-year-old wife, who suffered from synovial sarcoma, a rare disease, recovered from cancer.

The celebration brought together family, close friends and celebrities. In a social media post, Vera commented: “I’m going to celebrate my birthday.” The decoration was created by Andrea Guimarães, known for promoting events for celebrities such as Ivete Sangalo, Anitta and the Justus family.

The model has anticipated her birthday party, which will be next Sunday, October 12th. In 2024, Vera was diagnosed with thigh cancer, and in October of that year, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor. He also spent his 49th birthday in hospital.

“First of all I want to thank you for all the prayers and messages of affection! Today I turn 49 with the most beautiful gift I could receive: the presence of the Holy Spirit! I called him while I was anesthetized and I felt an inexplicable sensation throughout the entire operation. (…) This is my new birthday and I can only be grateful for my salvation!”, wrote the presenter in a post on social media.
