MC Daniel comments on his single life after the breakup with Lorena Maria: ‘I’m not a big party person’

MC Daniel was present at the DVD recording of Gaab, of whom he is a friend, this Tuesday 21st in Guarujá (SP). In a chat with Earth, The singer talked about the song “Solteiro X Casado” and commented on his single life.

“In this song we talk about the pros and cons of being single and being married. He talks about his side, why he’s married, and I talk about my side of being single. I’m sure anyone can relate, because everyone is single or married,” he says.

MC Daniel’s single comes after the end of his relationship with influencer Lorena Maria in July this year. The two have a son together, Rás, 8 months old.

“I’ve never been much of a party person. I’m a guy who works a lot, so I don’t have much of a social life. In the time I have left, I spend time with my family. Sometimes I have about 15 minutes to try to play video games, but I already have to get in the car and speed off somewhere. I work a lot, I have a company, artists and I’m even starting my own label now,” says Daniel.

Balancing his funk career with setting up his own record label, the funk singer recognizes that his hectic schedule means he spends less time with his son. However, he reflects that his biggest motivation for working so hard is to give him a better life.

“It’s difficult, but there are things we have to endure, because it’s also for his future. Thank God, he was born in a private hospital, he doesn’t lack anything. He doesn’t lack the basic things and we can still help him with other things, with lessons, with clothes, with food, with accommodation, with everything. So, he reaps the benefits.”

As for his relationship with Lorena Maria, Daniel says he is currently focused entirely on his son. “Our relationship is more about Rás himself,” he concludes.
