“Professionally, 2024 was wonderful. This year I started more calm, relaxed, because at the end of last year we launched several things: there was the Grommethad the Park Maniac– So I’m very happy. I’m in a really satisfying place, I’m becoming more and more proud of myself as an actress and I feel like I’m approaching different challenges,” she said Earth.
Although she is satisfied with her performance and her artistic evolution, Giovanna is still learning to do less and make the most of her breaks. This year, spontaneously, he ended up taking a “gap year,” which he considers positive.
“It was a coincidence [o sabático, não foi uma escolha]. I already had some projects lined up, but I had a long break and managed to stop, which is complicated for an actor. We don’t work for a while and we are in crisis, thinking that we will never work again in our life. But these moments of pause are great opportunities to be together with other actors, develop your own projects, write, study, take a course, put on a show, really retrain yourself.”
“I think I’m still learning to deal with it, learning to sit still, you know? I enjoy the breaks and the silence. I’ve always been a noise freak, I liked being with friends all the time. Now I’m at a stage in my life where I really like being alone – just being quiet, not listening to anything and listening to myself.”

Despite the concern about returning to work, he underlines the importance of psychotherapy in this slowing down process. According to Giovanna, the therapist often reminds her that, despite being a public personality, she is still a human being and needs time to rest, especially for those who work from an early age.
“I’ve worked all my life… I started doing commercials when I was seven months old. So when I say ‘all my life’ I mean my whole life. I grew up on set, doing commercials. The set environment is safe for me, because it’s really where I spent my childhood. But sometimes I feel tired, unmotivated, and my psychologist has to remind me that I’ve been working for 27 years. And I think, ‘It’s true’. A lot of travel time. So it’s normal that for At a certain point we feel tired.”
During these months of break Giovanna was able to study acting techniques and rest. However, according to her, all this tranquility should end soon. “It’s been a very nice year for me to be able to relax, recharge my energy, recycle my techniques, study… to now get into the next more ready projects, you know? We have the recordings for Found, it will be a special project for me – and very important.”
