“What a moment!”, reflects William Bonner in a post on his penultimate day in charge of the JN

William Bonner he already wants to say hello National newspaper. On the night of Friday 31st, the journalist officially leaves the Globo editorial team after 29 years. On Instagram he reflected on the moment.

On Thursday 30th, the host shared a photo alongside Renata Vasconcelloshis benchmate, and wrote: “My penultimate National newspaper as owner and partner of Renata Vasconcellos”.

In the caption Bonner also announces the program for this Friday’s edition: “We will receive the Cesare Tralliwho will occupy my place on the most important seat in Brazilian journalism. What a moment!”

Tralli takes command of the National newspaper from Monday 3rd. On Thursday 30th the balloting between Globo’s hosts began: the journalist presented the Newspaper Todaywhich will be led by Roberto Kovalick, who in turn will be replaced by Tiago Scheuer Hour 1.

In September, when he announced his departure, Bonner said his children had motivated the decision and that “the score is not closed.”
