‘Historic moment’: the web goes crazy over Bonner’s farewell to the Jornal Nacional

The public’s affection for William Bonner was demonstrated once again on Friday evening, the 31st. In his farewell role as host and editor-in-chief of the Jornal Nacional, Internet users brought the name of the presenter to the top of the trending topics of X – the former Twitter.

On social media, Bonner’s final goodnight was treated as a “historic moment.” According to reports, there was even someone who turned on the television to avoid being excluded from the event.

The jokes also recalled the young presenter, still dark, sitting on the bench of the Jornal Nacional for the first time, in 1996. Bonner’s affection for César Tralli, the person chosen to replace him, was also mentioned.
