Comedian Chris Rock, 57, first appeared on the late July video in which actor Will Smith apologizes for the assault he suffered at this year’s Oscars ceremony.
The comment came during a cabaret show held last Saturday at London’s O2 Arena, and was anything but flattering. “F * ck your hostage video”, “Everybody Hates creator Chris” shot on stage.
Elsewhere in the presentation, Rock spoke directly about the attack. “Yes, she hurt me. He played the role of [Muhammad] There. I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather, “he joked, citing the pit fighters who often fought in the ring.
Interestingly, the other attraction of the night at the O2 Arena, Dave Chapelle, also made a “joke” with aggression. He claimed that if he had been the target of Smith’s assault instead of Rock, the “Fresh One in the Hill” star would not have been able to “enjoy the rest of the night”.
“[Will Smith] cultivated the impression of being a perfect man for 30 years. I just hope he doesn’t put that mask back on. “
