Major networks and cinemas in Brazil have teamed up to organize Semana do Cinema, a promotion that offers R $ 10 tickets for all films on display, starting Thursday (15/9).
The action is organized by the National Federation of Film Exhibiting Companies (Feneec) and will last until next Wednesday (20/9) on Cinemark, Cinépolis, UCI, Cinesystem, GNC, Moviecom, Arteplex, Cineart, Itaú Cinemas, Moviecom, Petra Belas Arts and Playart.
In addition to the lower ticket price, the popcorn and soda combo will also be sold at a promotional price.
The initiative aims to bring viewers back to theaters after the stampede caused by the covid-19 pandemic.
Despite the success of some blockbusters in the last quarter, the lack of big releases has recently returned to alienate audiences. In the past two weeks, the emptying has hit consecutive negative records, making it the worst box office of the year.
Among the options available, you can watch previews of the week, including “Orphan 2: Inception”, and last week, like the romantic comedy “Ticket to Paradise”, starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney.
The promotion, however, does not apply to special rooms – 3D sessions and VIP rooms.
