Melanie Chisholm, Mel C, speaks for the first time of a case that happened in the 1990s; the artist launches the autobiography this Thursday, 15

the English singer Melanin Chisholm48 years old, she has established herself in the pop universe as Mel C dei Spice Girls. What most of her fans didn’t know is that, prior to the group’s debut onstage concert in October 1997, she was sexually abused.
The case took place in a hotel in Istanbul, in Turkey, the day before the performance of the group. The artist, who was 23 when the abuse occurred, reported that the attacker was a masseuse in charge of taking care of the female band.
Melanie provides details on the case for the first time in a podcast interview how to failpublished Wednesday 14.
“What happened to me, I buried it right away, because there were other things to focus on. Everything around him was leading to the climax of everything I ever wanted to do,” shares the singer. He explains that this had to be done because it was necessary to focus on preparing for the performance that would mark the Spice Girls’ debut in the 90s.
Mel C adds that, when the sexual abuse occurred, she was in an environment where she had to undress in front of this professional, which made her more confused about what happened. “I felt very vulnerable, I was very ashamed.”
Now, after sharing that weight with his fans, the artist says the whole story will be better explained in his new autobiography, “Who I Am: Mu Story”, released this week on Thursday 15th in the UK.
“I think it’s important that I talk about it and eventually deal with it,” he says.
