Royal breakfast: what Elizabeth II ate in the morning (spoiler: always the same!)

Elizabeth II adhered to strict traditions in everything – even, for example, in the breakfast menu.

On September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth died. We really miss one of the most famous women in the world and remember what her habits, traditions and preferences were.

For example, do you know what Queen Elizabeth had for breakfast? You may be surprised, but his diet has never changed.

So, the British monarch always started her day with Earl Gray tea without milk or sugar (certainly in a neat porcelain cup) and a few pieces of biscuits. Her Majesty’s breakfast started at 9 o’clock.

Additionally, the Queen preferred Kellogg’s, Quaker Oats and Weetabix cereals. Occasionally, Elizabeth II favored Wilkin & Sons marmalade toast (as did Paddington Bear), and very rarely did she opt for a smoked salmon and truffle omelet. And the eggs were supposed to be brown. Yes, you didn’t think so.

This is what the royal breakfast looked like. Was this planned or were you expecting something fundamentally different?
