Guilherme Sousa edited a video showing Renata Lo Prete and Joe Biden announcing the alien invasion and amassing more than 60,000 Instagram likes
This Thursday, 6, the alien invasion became real for the writer and comedian’s friends Guilherme Sousa.
The screenwriter went viral on social media after posting a video showing reactions to a fake call from a Globe which showed the arrival of extraterrestrials in the ground.
“Anyone who knows me knows that I am fascinated by ETs and also love to speak like a reporter,” he said at the beginning of the video.
“Thinking about it I decided to do an experiment. Since I don’t know if I will live in the generation that will see the arrival of aliens on Earth, I have decided to let my friends live this experience,” he added, saying that he would like other people to do so. same with him.
Guilherme then showed the editing process. The screenwriter has joined a piece of Globo’s programming with the call of the station’s Duty.
Then he included a picture of the reporter Renata Lo Prete in silence and a pronunciation of Joe Biden with a dubbing about the invasion.
In the end, he chose fake registrations of UFO which he found on the internet and, “since he likes to go to the limit”, simulated an explosion and ended with the image of a person running around in Globo’s empty studios.
“Delicious chaos,” he joked. Guilherme then showed the reactions of his friends, visibly confused, with the call from Duty.
When Joe Biden talked about aliens, some were surprised and some were happy. “Guys, are we high (sic)? I’m really nervous,” one of his friends said.
The video has been released twitter and not Instagram by the screenwriter. On Twitter, the publication garnered more than 40,000 likes and, on Instagram, more than 60,000.
