Despite this, the new attack proved to be of little harm.

THE Record TV suffered a second hacker attack in less than a week. Some of the broadcaster’s official websites, such as affiliates Record TV Rio and Record TV Paulista, were canceled this Saturday (15/10). A group of hackers has claimed authorship in groups of telegram.
Despite this, the new attack does little damage. Last Saturday, all registration files, the station intranet and emails were blocked, in a data hijacking (ransomware) that impacted and wreaked havoc on broadcaster programming.
Information has circulated that the hacker had asked for a ransom to release access to the files and the leaked amounts ranged from R $ 25 to 45 million. There is no payment information, but the problems seemed to be solved on Thursday (12/10).
The broadcaster did not comment on the previous attack, much less the current one. At the beginning of the year, the same group of hacker had already invaded and removed the website of Television network!.
