Guilherme de Pádua was also a pastor of the same church and became known after he coaxed the murder of actress Daniella Perez, in 1992, daughter of author Gloria Perez. “He committed that terrible crime with Daniella Perez, he was arrested, served his sentence and converted. The former actor was convicted of the murder and kept a YouTube channel for preaching. He used his experience in prison to preach about the Christian life after committing the crime.
He and his wife at the time, Paula Tomaz, were sentenced for first degree murder to 19 years and six months in prison, but the sentence was subsequently reduced to six years.
