Caetano Veloso’s son said goodbye to the singer during a wake held in Sao Paulo
Son of Caetano with actress Dedé Gadelha, the musician Moreno Veloso he wanted to greet Gal Costa personally. The singer, who died on Wednesday 9, was his godmother.
“I’m greeting the greatest reference of my life and the person who introduced my father and mother. I was born because she exists,” Moreno summed up in a conversation with the report by Land🇧🇷
The musician also said that Gal’s greatest legacy is his love of music and art.
“This love she had was very strong. If you were next to her while you sing, you would feel how overwhelming she was”, recalls the artist, who defines the godmother as a simple person, passionate about life and music. “She was a sweet person, it was good to live with. Now I just miss her,” he complained.
On the day of Gal Costa’s death, Moreno Veloso paid tribute to the artist on his Instagram, along with a photo of his childhood in the company of his godmother.
