Singer Taylor Swift was the big winner of the MTV EMA 2022, the European music channel award, winning in four categories, including the event’s main ones.
Taylor won for Best Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Video, and Best Long Form Video, competing with “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” video. During the thank you, she praised not only the fans who voted for her, but also the actors Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink, who starred in the video.
Other award highlights went to Harry Styles, Nicki Minaj and David Guetta, who each won two awards. And also for the Brazilian Anitta, winner of the Best Latin Artist category.
The biggest surprise was BLACKPINK member Lisa’s solo victory over her group for Best K-Pop Artist.
The European Music Awards took place this Sunday afternoon (13/11) in Düsseldorf, Germany with a presentation by singer Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi, who are married. In addition to the distribution of trophies, the event opened its stage to several musical performances, including the rock band Muse, the musical partnership of David Guetta and Bebe Rexha and the lively sound of Gorillaz – coincidentally, all also they rewarded.
