Actress Letitia Wright, who starred in ‘Black Panther 2,’ has opened up about the passing of co-star Chadwick Boseman. Following the feature film’s premiere at the SAG Awards, the artist revealed how she found out about the actor’s death in 2020.

“I went to my email and someone said, ‘My condolences.’ And I said, ‘My condolences for what?'” Wright recalls. According to her, her cell phone started pumping messages.

“I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to get this all going. I’m going to call Chad and he’ll answer the phone'” continued. “And I saw Daniel Kaluuya [ligando], and Daniel Kaluuya doesn’t care about anyone. He’s busy. And I was like, ‘Why is he calling me?’ So I called him and I said, ‘You have about five seconds to tell me it’s not real.'” remembered.

Incidentally, Letitia Wright said that Kaluuya, who played the character W’Kabi, was “extremely quiet.” So she decided to use the other phone to call Chadwick Boseman. However, Daniel heard movement at the other end of the line.

“He said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m calling Chad.’ And he said, ‘Tish, the family.’ And that’s where I lost it.” Wright finally said.
