From the Other World: MakSim, Pugacheva and Other Stars Who Miraculously Survived

The whole country worried and prayed for the heroes of this collection. Each of them was able to overcome the disease and return to life, despite the fact that at one time there was almost no hope.

When a celebrity is in trouble, fans across the country come together to support both the idol and their loved ones. Sometimes the loss cannot be avoided, as was the case, for example, with Yulia Nachalova: the artist fought the disease with all her might, the doctors did everything possible, but it did not give any results.

Fortunately, the opposite also happens: for example, at the beginning of August, the singer MakSim (Maxim’s real name is Marina Abrosimova. – About. ed.) finally recovered after a long illness. This material is about her and other domestic celebrities who literally returned from beyond.

MakSimComment

On June 11, 2021, the singer felt ill at a concert in Kazan. Then, recalling Marina’s former alcohol addiction, many decided that she allowed herself to perform while drunk. The artist denied such accusations, posting a photo with a thermometer as evidence – it already showed 40 ° C.

The same evening, the artist was hospitalized with pneumonia. When lung damage reached 40-45%, doctors put the artist in a medically induced coma, put her on a ventilator, but her condition continued to worsen. Marina had to be transferred to ECMO, a system for maintaining lung and heart function. It is usually used when lung damage reaches 75%. The condition of the performer was considered extremely difficult, and then the hopes of the most devoted fans were shaken.

But at the beginning of August – oh surprise! – there was news about the improvement of the state of MakSim. The artist came to her senses, she was disconnected from the ECMO device, and on August 9 she was already transferred from intensive care to an ordinary ward. Learning that she spent more than a month in a coma and scared the whole country, Marina decided to get in touch via her social networks:

“It helped me a lot that they worried about me, thought of me and prayed, it took me out of the other world. Today, I am transferred from intensive care to an ordinary ward, and I I can finally thank you all personally. When the doctors asked me how long I thought I had been in a coma, I replied: 2 days. I couldn’t believe that more than a month had passed. <...> I am grateful to all of you, doctors and to the Lord God, for the fact that I continue to live on this Earth and, although with difficulty, I breathe.

Nadezhda Babkina

In April 2020, Nadezhda Babkina scared the country. The artist strictly observed the quarantine then introduced and all precautions, but still contracted the coronavirus. On April 6, Nadezhda felt ill, her temperature rose sharply. The doctors who arrived at the call urgently hospitalized the singer.

“The doctors did a scan, they saw that 80% of the lungs were affected. The kidneys immediately failed. I couldn’t come out of the coma later,” Babkina recalls after the terrible was left behind. But at that time the news about her health was frightening: at one point the singer’s condition was so serious that she was put into an artificial coma. For two weeks, doctors fought for Babkina’s life, and she herself remembers that time like this: “Everything happened as if from another space.” At the end of April, the bilateral pneumonia caused by the coronavirus receded – and soon the artist was released. Nadezhda calls it a scary time, but urges anyone who has been through something like this not to despair.

Alla Pugacheva

Few people know that Alla Pugacheva survived clinical death. In the fall of 1992, the 43-year-old singer decided to radically rejuvenate herself: doing breast enhancement, a facelift and liposuction at the same time. Doctors warned: this is a heavy burden for the body, the heart may not be able to withstand it, but the Primadonna firmly decided that she wants to be young, slim and beautiful.

The operations were carried out in Switzerland, but already on the plane on the way home the singer fell ill – her temperature rose. Alla Borisovna was taken to the capital hospital already in critical condition: for almost a day the doctors fought for her life, and at one point they almost lost her.

After the experience, Pugacheva in no way described the state of clinical death. “I didn’t see anything and that’s probably why I went back,” said the singer.

Maxim Fadeyev

The famous producer survived a clinical death in his youth, when he was only 17 years old. This happened during a complex heart operation, which worried Maxim from an early age. Then Fadeev was miraculously saved.

“I was a speck of dust and realized that I could move anywhere on the planet in a second. I went to a cemetery in Paris, where, according to my father, our relative was buried. I found myself there, I saw a tombstone with our last name and… I woke up. The doctors brought me back to life. After 20 years, my father and I decided to visit this cemetery. And an amazing thing happened: I had never been to this city, but I was able to drive my father to the tombstone of our relative. Then I realized that during the operation, I hadn’t seen a dream – I was there and I was that floating particle,” the producer shared years later.

Oleg Gazmanov

Oleg Gazmanov calls this incident in his life a visit to the other world. During a performance at Camp Artek, the artist was asked to take a second microphone. As soon as Oleg touched the equipment, he fell sharply. It turned out that the equipment was not grounded, and the artist was electrocuted. Gazmanov lost consciousness and has already woken up in hospital: it is said that doctors thought he was dead. It turned out that the singer survived clinical death, but miraculously survived.

“There was nothing around – no color, no smells, no sounds… No pain, nothing. Such euphoria. And I seemed to have a choice: leave the world or go back,” recalls the artist. Then he thought he hadn’t written all the songs yet. And that’s when I woke up: “I opened my eyes and saw that I I was in the room surrounded by doctors.”
