From the outside they looked perfect: how ex-Serebro soloist Katya Kishchuk suffered for years from attacks by her English boyfriend

Katya Kishchuk admitted to fans that her union with the British rapper was not at all a cloudless fairy tale, and in fact, she was the victim of abuse. Let’s talk about how it happened.

Having an affair with a stranger is the dream of many girls. For Katya Kishchuk, it came true: a few years ago, the ex-soloist of the Serebro group began dating British rapper Slowthaiт (real name Tyrone Frampton).

And everything seemed to be fine: Katya flew to her beloved in London, and therefore she stayed there. On June 18, 2021, the lovers became parents to a son, whose name was Rain.

Add to that romantic posts, passionate photos and candid confessions. Fans did not hide their joy: they not only wanted Kishchuk to return to her career (and the girl wrote that love inspired her and she was ready to appear with new material), but also to marry her boyfriend.

Alas, as often happens, it has now become clear that the whole image Katya has shared with us is just dust in the eye, and in fact, all these years she has been the victim of abuse. And to be more precise – neglekte. This is a form of emotional abuse, where second half desires are completely belittled. In short, here you have gaslighting, and the prohibition of contact with people who were once close, and other humiliations.

How could she have endured all this? you ask. And we will respond. Such situations begin with innocent remarks, criticism “for good”, but end up turning the relationship of two people into an endless stream of negativity from side to side. The victim of abuse at some point gets used to and even thanks the other half for such an attitude, until after a while he finds himself a sagging person with a trampled self-esteem.

Katya says she decided to separate for the sake of her son. “I want Rain to see a happy dad, not… Not what it was. I want my son to live with an absolutely happy mom. That’s so much better,” she admits.

It’s great that Kishchuk had the courage to not only come out of a toxic relationship (and it’s very difficult for a codependent person to do so), but also to speak publicly about his hurt in order to possibly save someone. of such an error.
