Being in the same environment as the famous is not as glamorous as you think
The ‘pito’ given by Claudia Raia to journalist Renan Pereira resonated on social media and in some media.
The episode occurred during the Vivara jewelry 60th birthday party at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo on Monday (12) night.
When the actress stopped being photographed and filmed by the press, the journalist took the opportunity to ask her if she had already chosen the name of the child she was expecting.
“Yes. Didn’t you follow me? You are very late. You are terrible. I told Ana Maria Braga, boy: Luca! Only you don’t know,” shot the star.
He insisted on debauchery. “Journalist, true love? You must know… It’s only because the world knows. Yes… Luca is the new Enzo. Didn’t you hear him?”
Renan does not appear in the video recorded by another reporter on the scene, but you can hear the embarrassment in his voice as he tries to explain himself.
“You have to know, but I didn’t know,” she says. “The world knows, well, right?”
On SBT’s ‘Fofocalizando’, Renan commented on the matter. “We, who do variety, write about many things… It’s not possible to cover everything, know everything or keep googling.”
The reporter admits that he felt cornered. “I asked very politely…and she was very inelegant. I thought she was very inelegant, even though she has that tongue in cheek. I would never confront her, I respected her moment .”
Surprised by the criticism, Claudia Raia released a statement. “I have the utmost respect for the press and journalists, who have always accompanied me in my 40-year career. That was a moment of fun when I arrived at the event, where I served all the press present. The video was edited and gave the wrong impression. I have always cultivated an excellent relationship with photographers and journalists and will continue to do so”, reads the note.
This is not an isolated case. The climate between journalists and celebrities is sometimes unpleasant, even tense, despite the interdependence between the two categories.
Chasing celebrities is a thankless mission. Most play hard to get and snub the press.
They are the same media personalities who, before their consolidated fame, asked for a card to project their name and image.
This behavior is also common among ‘subs’, i.e. the well-known bottom brackets, such as ex-reality show participants without much popularity.
At events, reporters stand for hours, waiting for guests to pass by. They usually don’t even get a glass of water from the organizers, even if they are there to promote brands and people.
Anyone who thinks there is glamor in the life of the celebrity press is wrong. Industry professionals often experience fatigue, stress and even humiliation.
Yes, there are exceptions. There are artists and producers who respect the work of journalists and show gratitude for publication in magazines, newspapers and news portals.
People what does it mean THE WHOLE WORLD knows the name of Claudia Raia’s son, but the journalist doesn’t know it? Did he miss that college class? pic.twitter.com/keRXsk4EWW
