After his bankruptcy was decreed this Thursday (12/15), the list of creditors of Alexandre Frota ended up being leaked, revealing a debt of almost R$ 1.5 million, which, according to his defense, does not can be paid for lack of funds by the plaintiff and deputy.
In granting Frota’s first defense, the 3rd Civil Court of SP cited all the names of institutions and people to whom it owes.
The largest amount is a debt to Banco Econômico, in 1995, due to non-payment of an overdraft. In the 2000s, the actor was ordered to pay BRL 88,000 with interest and correction. As the debt was not paid, it was accumulated and, with interest and corrections, reached R$ 1,282 million.
In addition to the banking institution, the deputy has also accumulated debts from judicial sentences in causes for moral damages, which he had inherited from his Bolsonarist phase.
He owes R$50,000 to federal judge Rogério Favreto in non-pecuniary damages, after revealing the magistrate’s phone number, because he granted habeas corpus to Lula in 2018, when the president-elect was incarcerated in Curitiba.
He also owes R$50,000 to singer Chico Buarque after he spread a rumor that the singer had benefited from the Rouanet law. Chico has never used the Law. Although the singer’s name appears in the list of active debts, Frota claims that he has already paid this fine in full.
There is another BRL 30,000 owed to federal delegate Rodrigo Moraes Fernandes, a victim of fake news from Frota, at the time he was responsible for investigating the attack against Jair Bolsonaro, committed by Adélio Bispo in 2018.
And, finally, R$ 10,000 charged by Marina Almeida Martins, a student who sued Frota for using her photos to attack the UNE (National Union of Students). After the post, Marina became the target of the fury of the Bolsonarists. This case is still under review.
