Renato Goés, a friend of the artist, confirmed the death with a tribute on social media
Betito Tavarèsknown for his role in heart of the studentsoap opera Rede Globe 2002, died at the age of 42. The information was confirmed by Renato goesfriend of the artist, with a post on Twitter this Friday 16.
Without revealing the cause of death, the sea of the sertao paid tribute to his colleague, who had been his neighbor before it debuted on TV Globo.
“We lived in the same building in Recife. I was still a dreamy teenager when he left to do his first soap opera, heart of the student🇧🇷 His successes inspired me a lot. Today we lost a smart and restless fellow! Follow in peace! Kisses to friends and family,” wrote Goés.

In the comments of the publication, friends mourned the loss. “When I was a teenager, many people confused us. They thought we were brothers or something. We became friends and enjoyed that aspect. I just found out. How sad,” said musician Tibério Azul.
Pablo Falcão, an actor who began his career with Tavares and became the owner of the Chá da Alice event, also mourned his friend’s death. He shared an old photo that photographer Priscilla Guimarães posted on Instagram in honor of the artist.
