According to columnist Igor Gadelha, of MetrĂ³poles, Bolsonaro asked the president of the Liberal Party, Valdemar Costa Neto, to provide financial assistance to Michelle in case he is arrested.
In November, the first lady had already been called upon to become chair of the women’s list of her husband, PL Mulher’s party. Also according to Igor, the promise would have come from Valdemar and she would have received a salary for the job.

According to columnist Guilherme Amado, also of MetrĂ³poles, Carlos suggested to Valdemar that party senators submit a preventive habeas corpus to the STF.
