Chinese influencer Gan Soujiong, owner of the YouTube channel “Fatty Goes To Africa” specializing in international food, was stabbed to death during his latest live broadcast in a market in Kathmandu, Nepal.
A video released by the British newspaper Daily Mail on Thursday (12/15), shows the 29-year-old influencer talking into his mobile phone camera, as he walks through the market, until he is suddenly attacked from behind and his mobile phone falls to the ground, starting to just record your screams.
A rival of the YouTuber, Feng Zhengyung, 37, was arrested as the main suspect in the murder. He allegedly stabbed the influencer in the chest and stomach. Gan died while hospitalized in a public hospital in the Asian country.
Feng also allegedly stabbed another person, 32-year-old Li Chuzan, who was with Gan at the time of the attack in the stomach.
The dead influencer used his YouTube channel to feature foreign foods and had nearly five million followers.
