The version that the heartthrob fell victim to five criminals last week in Rio de Janeiro was denied by the investigation

The investigation into the Thiago Rodrigues case has taken a turn. Civil police in Rio de Janeiro have denied that the actor was subjected to an assault last week. The program Spectacular Sundayof Rede Record, posted a video featuring the heartthrob falling after sitting down at a fair stall.

A security camera in Praça Santos Dumont, in Gávea, captured the moment Rodrigues lost his balance, fell backwards and hit his head on the ground. There is no evidence of beatings and assaults. The case took place on Saturday 10.

The actor was unconscious, had lost part of his scalp and was taken to hospital early on Sunday the 11th, when a woman who had arrived to exhibit her wares at the local antiques fair was rescued.

“Here at the police station, he simply said: ‘I don’t remember what happened.’ of the fair”, declared Biana Lima, delegate of the case, in an interview for Record.

In testimony, Thiago Rodrigues said he did not remember what happened. He has not yet presented his personal cell phone which he claims went missing after the accident. The investigation does not yet know if the theft of the device actually took place.
