Two days after having undergone surgery, due to a perforation of the intestine caused by a hernia, the presenter Mamma Bruschetta had to undergo another emergency operation this Sunday afternoon (25/12). The information was published in Fefito’s column, with whom she had spoken on Saturday.
Admitted to the Vila Nova Star hospital in São Paulo, the mother suffered internal bleeding after breaking some stitches in the first operation. With approximately 350 mL of blood lost, doctors had to perform exploratory surgery to cauterize the bleeding site.
The operation was deemed successful and she is fine, but she will remain hospitalized in intensive care for the next few days, with no forecast of discharge.
The mum discovered the perforation after experiencing severe stomach pains during the early hours of Friday (12/23). As it got worse, the presenter of “Melhor da Tarde” was hospitalized and, having found an umbilical hernia, had to undergo the first surgery.
In an interview with Fefito, he confessed that he was afraid. “I thought it was a simpler complication, but I saw the deal was bad for me,” the presenter said on Saturday.
