The year 2022 was a success in terms of musical performances: festivals and concerts. With the return of major events, after two years of social distancing due to Covid-19, the stages were once again filled with sound.

The year 2023 will be no different, with several international shows and festivals confirmed, here are some must-see attractions. To look:

The city



From the same creators of Rock in Rio, we will have the first edition of The Town, a music festival inspired by the city of São Paulo. So far we don’t have any names confirmed in the line-up, but many already speculate big attractions like The Weeknd, Rihanna and even Beyoncé.

Ticket sales have not yet taken place.

When? 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10 September 2023

Where is it? Interlagos Autodrome in Sao Paulo

Lollapalooza



The festival, which has been held in Brazil since 2012, will feature several big names in the 2023 edition. Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Blink-182, Tame Impala, Drake and Rosalía headline the three-day festival.

Tickets went on sale in September and there are still tickets available. However, some packages such as Lolla Comfort and Lolla Pass are already sold out.

Planet Atlantis



Planeta Atlântida 2023 announced, in November, the attractions of this edition. Among the rhythms that will make planetariums dance are pop, funk, trap, sertanejo, rap, pagodas, rock, electronic music and much more. The festival brought together names such as Matuê, Ivete Sangalo, Ludmilla, Jota Quest and many others.

When? 3 and 4 February

Where is it? Sabain Atlantisnorthern coast of Rio Grande do Sul

GRLS!



The GRLS Festival! aims to give space to female protagonism in music. That’s why it brings together names like Tinashe, Sandy, Duda Beat and Ludmilla in the lineup.

When? 4 and 5 March 2023

Where is it? Tietê Sports Center in São Paulo

Coolritba



Finally, in our list of festivals, we have Coolritiba, which always brings news and surprises for those who embark on this journey. In this edition there will be a substantial change in the map. The Cool Stage will be divided into “Side A” and “Side B”. There will be two large stages side by side, in a completely new format.

Marisa Monte, Gilberto Gil, Sandy, Mano Brown, L7nnon and Alceu Valença are some of the names confirmed for the festival.
