Born in São Paulo, Yuri Lima began his career at Audax, within the state. The defensive midfielder started his career with the club at the age of 13, when the club was still known as PAEC, and made his professional debut with the club at the age of 21, in 2015.
After distinguishing himself in the Osasco team and reaching the final of the Paulistão under the command of Fernando Diniz, Yuri caught the attention of Santos. In 2016, Alvinegro Praiano agreed with the athlete on loan and, in 2018, bought him outright. After the permanent deal, the player ended up not working as expected.
From Santos, Yuri emigrated to Fluminense, where he had a very similar passage.
