The body of Renatinho, lead singer of Bokaloka, was veiled in the morning and buried in the afternoon in Rio de Janeiro. The singer suffered heart attack during a show, was saved, but died at the National Institute of Cardiology. This Saturday (7), friends and work colleagues greeted the artist at the Jardim Saudade cemetery, in Sulacap, in the west of the city.
Former pagodeiro Waguinho was one of two artists who attended to pay their last respects. Leandro Sapucahy also attended the musician’s wake and supported his family during the ceremony. Celebrities who didn’t make it sent garlands of flowers.
Bokaloka exploded with samba in the 1990s. Renatinho, 48, was one of the singers and also a composer. The group released hits such as “Shortinho Saint Tropez” and “Duas Paixões”.
