Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro pronounced, this Sunday (08), on the allegations that she and her husband had handed over the Palácio da Alvorada, the official residence of the President of the Republic, in poor conditions of conservation and maintenance for Lula and Janja.

On social media, Michael who is the target of rumors of a crisis in her marriage to Jair Bolsonaro, she claimed that she and her husband preserved the palace. “Respecting the structure which is historical heritage and also the money of the Brazilian people,” concluded the former first lady.

Michelle ignored the restoration carried out two months before her husband took office and mentioned the restoration carried out during the first Lula government. “It is public knowledge that, in 2006, the site underwent a renovation worth approximately R$18 million, in which some benefits, such as a jacuzzi and whirlpool, were made by the Odebrecht company,” he said.

Michelle supports it the couple brought furniture from their Rio de Janeiro residence and repurposed cutlery, cups, towels and sheets. He also ensures that some carpets and decorative objects have been kept in the collection so that the place could accommodate children in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
