Singer Simony said this Wednesday (11) that she had her last consultation with the oncologist. She was battling bowel cancer diagnosed last August and even celebrated the end of treatment in December. In recent weeks you had undergone medical checks to prevent the disease from returning.
“Yesterday I was examined and everything is fine. I have had 30 radiotherapy sessions and I no longer take drugs, except when I feel a little pain. The exams are super wonderful,” celebrated the singer.
Simony added that, in March, he will undergo new tests to see if the tumor has been completely eliminated. “Sure, it’s all over now, I’m sure and a lot of confidence,” she said in a confident tone.
Simony’s disease was discovered after a series of routine tests. At the time, the artist had a lump in his intestines and ended up undergoing a colonoscopy, where the tumor was discovered.
Last year, she even vented about the painful process she had to go through to battle the disease.
“I allow myself to be everything and feel everything, because for almost 6 months, I underwent the most painful treatment of my life – not only physically, but also emotionally. Out of nowhere, my life changed,” she described.
The former Balão Mágico singer also said that she considers herself “another person in every way” and that she feels “grateful for having the opportunity to be here”.
