Elvis Presley’s daughter suffers heart attack, rushed to hospital

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, was rushed to hospital Thursday (21/1) after authorities responded to a call to her home due to cardiac arrest.

TMZ reported that paramedics performed CPR to revive her and were able to regain her pulse before she was transported.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the press dispatchers responded to the call in the city of Calabasas and found a woman in her 50s who had suffered cardiac arrest. The spokesperson added that after recovering the woman’s pulse, she was transported to West Hills Hospital.

Lisa Marie is the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Along with her mother, she attended the Golden Globes on Tuesday night (1/10) and cheered on Austin Butler winning the Best Actor award for his portrayal of her in the film “Elvis,” directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Following in his father’s footsteps, his professional career has centered around music. Lisa Marie has released three albums, ‘To Whom It May Concern’ in 2003, ‘Now What’ in 2005 and ‘Storm & Grace’ in 2012.

She has been married four times, including to celebrities such as singer Michael Jackson and actor Nicolas Cage, and is the mother of three children, including actress Riley Keough (“Mad Max: Fury Road”).
