Path of Faith: Klara Castanho walks 130km to Aparecida

Klara Castanho revealed on Friday (1/13) that she walked 130 kilometers to Aparecida, in the hinterland of São Paulo, to thank Our Lady.

The young actress went through great trials last year after being raped, impregnated and given her baby up for adoption, as well as having all of this leaked by YouTubers and gossip columnists, who added slurs and vilification against her.

“There are days that are trials, that come to test us, but faith is present precisely in those moments where we have no answers. We trust or we don’t trust. And I trust,” she said in the post.

The actress said she was accompanied by an uncle on the walk and that the “Caminho da Fé” was an intense and transforming experience.

“Last Tuesday, the 4th, I started the journey of faith together with my uncle. We made about 130 km of pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Aparecida. In all, it was four days of walking, four intense days of reflection, prayer, tears, tenacity and a lot of faith,” he said.

She detailed her religious faith: “I believe in God a lot. My faith is always with me. It’s what I stand by to stay standing and move forward.”

“I am very grateful to Nossa Senhora Aparecida for having welcomed me, for having listened to my anxieties and pleas. Faith in her and in God strengthens me. They keep my head up and give me the strength to continue,” Klara continued.

Klara took the opportunity to thank the fans who supported her during a very difficult 2022 and her uncle who accompanied her on the journey, and recommended it to anyone who also wanted to make the road to Aparecida. “For those who want to do the Path of Faith, I want to say that it is an intense and life changing experience. There will be times when you will doubt your ability to move forward, but you can. You become stronger in your faith.”
