Became a victim of criminal clashes: the tragic fate of “Miss Russia – 1996” Alexandra Petrova

Many envy beauty queens: it would seem that they have everything – beauty, fame, fans, the opportunity to get rich. However, behind such a bright facade often hides an ugly truth.

Alexandra Petrova was born in Cheboksary in 1980. From an early age she dreamed of becoming a beauty queen, so in 1996 she went to Veliky Novgorod, where the All-Russian Miss Russia contest was held that year .

In the final, 40 girls fought for the title, but only one became the winner. Thus, Sasha’s dream came true: it was she who received the title “Miss Russia – 1996”.

Of course, victory in such a beauty salon opened many doors for beauty. She was even invited to Hollywood! However, the girl refused the tempting offer, because at that time she was only 16 years old.

Without going to Hollywood, Alexandra nevertheless continued to build a career in Russia. She also continued to participate in beauty contests. So, in 1997, she received the title of main beauty, becoming Miss International and beating representatives of 50 countries of the world. And 2 years later, Petrova represented Russia at the Miss Universe contest.

When Sasha was 18, she became interested in one of the foreign modeling agencies – Ford Models. For cooperation, a number of conditions were announced there: cutting off her luxurious long hair, losing weight and mastering English. Obviously, the girl was ready to go: very soon she really cut her hair, and also submitted documents to the institute of the faculty of foreign languages. Alas, the promising cooperation was not destined to happen.

At some point in the life of Alexandra Petrova, the Chuvash crime boss Konstantin Chuvilin appeared. Rumor has it that he was very kind to Sasha and her whole family, financially supporting both her beloved and her relatives, because of which, apparently, no one interfered with their communication.

It is also possible that Petrova fell in love with nerdy and turned a blind eye to her lover’s criminal affairs. Alas, this negligence literally cost him his life.

On September 16, 2000, Alexandra was killed. “Miss Russia – 1996” turned out to be an accidental victim, because the target of the killer was not her at all, but Chuvilin and her friend Radiy Akhmetov. In the end, all three were killed. Criminal groups, as was the case in the 90s, tried to divide spheres of influence by force, but the price was the life of a young girl.

Sasha was only 20 years old. Shortly before his death, they were going to marry Chuvilin, they wanted to become parents.

Almost all the Cheboksary came to Alexandra’s funeral.
