Record amount: how much money Kate Middleton spent on clothes in 2022

Each year, the British edition of the Daily Mail calculates the approximate spending of Kate Middleton on clothes.

So, for example, for 2020 the figure was 94,000 pounds (about 8 million rubles). By the way, this is 9,000 less than in 2019: then 103,000 pounds (about 8.7 million rubles) were counted for the Duchess. You will be surprised, but in 2021 this amount was usually negligible – about 49,000 (about 4 million rubles)! That’s savings!

And what about 2022? During this year, the Princess of Wales spent £176,000 on new clothes. As you can see, expenses have skyrocketed. All is to blame for the fact that Catherine has resumed her regular royal duties – publications and trips abroad, which have been suspended due to the pandemic.

The most expensive outfit of 2022 was her black dress at the premiere of Top Gun 2: Maverick, worth £2,000 (and jewelry worth over £10,000).

Of course, as many know, the Princess of Wales not only loves luxury brands, but also happily wears FMCG items. If we talk about Kate’s favorite budget brands, then these are Zara, Top Shop, Marks & Spencer, Gap, Asos.
