Model Cintia Dicker has finally revealed little Aurora’s health problem. In an interview with Vogue magazine, she said the baby was born with a congenital gastrointestinal malformation.
According to Pedro Scooby’s wife, the baby was diagnosed with the condition while still in his womb. “At 12 weeks, we discovered gastroschisis in the morphological examination, which was done when I was still in Brazil,” she said.
“From then on, in a sequence of tests to check for chromosomal alterations, we discovered that it was a female. My feelings have never deceived me, I knew it from the beginning,” said the model.
Then, Cintia reported that the birth had to be brought forward due to Aurora’s poor intestinal formation. “When we learned of the existence of gastroschisis, we also discovered that, for the safety of the baby, Aurora should be born between 37 and 38 weeks and via caesarean section,” she explained.

Gastroschisis is the malformation of the baby’s abdominal wall while it is still in the mother’s womb. Among the main complications of the condition is the failure of the intestines to develop and the loss of nutrients in the child.
