Young and naive: what Pamela Anderson wrote in letters to her first boyfriend

At school, 14-year-old Pamela started dating a guy named Ty Anderson (yes, ironically, he was her namesake).

After graduating, Ty moved to Red Deer, Alberta to become a firefighter, while Pamela stayed at her home in Comox. The lovers were very bored and began to exchange letters. Soon Pamela sent Ty and some candid photos. The decision to strip down, however, was not easy for her, as Pam still dressed very modestly and didn’t even wear clothes with a cleavage.

In a letter dated November 16, 1985, Pamela writes:

“Hey my handsome, I am sending you a little surprise. I hope you enjoy these photos. It took me a lot of courage, but I succeeded. You said that I never let you see my body , well, you can’t say it again. Here I am, in flesh and blood! I miss loving with you so much. I need you! I will always need you. Always yours, Pamela. I will never stop loving you”.

These pictures caught the imagination of the future star’s boyfriend.

“Pam has never been so risque before. So when I saw these pictures I thought, ‘Wow, she loves me,'” Ty recalled in an interview for a British tabloid.

When Pamela’s modeling career began, the young people broke up, although they kept in touch for some time. Today, Tai lives in a small town east of Vancouver with his wife and two children, but still keeps the letters from his first love.
