Russian sports portal Championat and animation studio Soyuzmultfilm have released a special episode of their sports cartoon series Champions. The episode, titled Olya on the Field: Khitryuk's Tooth, is now available on VK Video and YouTube.
In the episode, character Olya Goroshkina takes on the role of a special correspondent for Championat. As host of the blog Olya on the Field, she tries to discover how Red Meteor team player Petya Khitryuk lost one of his teeth, and receives a spectacular account in reply.
Champions is inspired by animated films from director Boris Dezhkin, including Shaibo! Shaibo! and Match-Revansh. The series launched in 2024 and centres on the rivalry between the Blue Pennants and the Red Meteors.
