Reality stars Chloe Lewis and Dan Edgar have gone public with their romance, sharing a series of affectionate photographs from a holiday in Marbella after keeping the relationship private for 14 months. The former The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) couple "hard launched" their romance this week, with Chloe posting further intimate snaps on Monday, including one of Dan kissing her leg as she lay on a sunlounger.
Chloe, 35, and Dan, 36, have been staying at the five-star hotel El Fuerte in Marbella, where rooms cost around £357 a night. The mother of one did not take her young son on the trip.
Chloe also posted a short video montage of clips from the holiday, including glimpses of their stylish hotel suite, the resort's grounds and what they ate. The footage showed the couple strolling together as Dan leaned in and kissed the top of her head.
Inside Their Marbella Holiday
The couple went Instagram official on Friday night, when Chloe shared a trio of snaps showing Dan kissing her on the cheek during a romantic dinner. Dan reshared several of Chloe's earlier photos, including a snap of his view of the pool as they relaxed together.
In one photo taken in a hotel lift, Chloe wore a skintight white top and satin skirt as she cosied up to Dan. Sunbeds with red and white striped umbrellas were laid out on the grass at the resort.
The video also showed the pair's hotel suite and the grounds of the resort, and Chloe shared a picture of the welcome pack the couple were given on arrival.
In further photos, Chloe showed off her physique in a red gingham bikini as she sunbathed. She joked that a shirtless Dan was the "umbrella man" as he moved a parasol to find some shade.
How Chloe and Dan's Romance Began
Chloe and Dan have known each other for years through TOWIE and Essex's wider social scene. They got together last June at the second wedding of their former co-stars Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallett in Mallorca, but kept the relationship largely secret, only occasionally alluding to their union.
They were first pictured together last month during a night out at the Tonic Terrace bar in the Hilton Bournemouth, after staff photographed the pair and posted the images on the venue's Instagram account. "Amazing to have @chloelewis91 & @danedgar pop in and see us on Saturday night. Hope you enjoyed your cocktails and come back and see us soon!" the caption read. Chloe wore a white bustier with jeans for the outing, while Dan has just marked 11 years as a TOWIE cast member.
Past Relationships and Jake Hall's Death
Chloe, who appeared on TOWIE between 2015 and 2019, first joined the show alongside her childhood sweetheart Jake Hall, with whom she had an on-off relationship. Jake died in May, aged 35, after falling through a glass door while on holiday in Mallorca. Chloe has since spoken candidly about her heartache over losing him. She is also mother to six-year-old son Beau, from her relationship with ex Danny Fisher.
Dan has had several high-profile relationships during his time on TOWIE, beginning with his own teenage sweetheart Kate Ferdinand, then known as Kate Wright. He later dated Amber Turner, who cheated on her then-boyfriend Jamie Reed with Dan, before his last TOWIE relationship with Ella Rae Wise. He began dating Chloe after his split from Ella.
Speaking previously about filming with Ella in Vietnam following their split, Dan said: "The stuff with Ella is a lot more recent, so naturally, it's not ideal being away with your ex. It came to light that she was still quite upset about a lot of stuff. It's not nice, I don't like seeing anyone upset. It was a tough situation to be in. I'm with someone else now and to be out there and see someone else upset and still trying to manage a friendship. It was all new ground to try and navigate. It's obviously never easy, but we've been trying to manage it the best we can."
