Supermodel Christie Brinkley and her daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook wore matching denim outfits to John Mayer's live SiriusXM concert at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett on Wednesday evening. The 72-year-old model and her 28-year-old daughter posed together on the red carpet, showing little sign of their 44-year age gap.
Both women styled their long blonde locks loose and accessorized their matching blue denim ensembles with belts and boots. Following their red carpet appearance, the mother and daughter took the fun inside the venue for the live performance.

Brinkley later shared a video on her Instagram Story on Thursday documenting the night out. "John Mayer and the full moon were both amazing last night!" she wrote in the caption, accompanied by footage of the lookalike pair singing along to the live band.
The exclusive Hamptons event drew a crowd of prominent figures to The Stephen Talkhouse, a music venue in Amagansett on Long Island, New York. Famous guests in attendance included actress Brooke Shields, radio personality Howard Stern, television host Andy Cohen, actor Neil Patrick Harris, and his husband David Burtka.

Viral Social Media Comparisons and Family
The public appearance comes just weeks after social media users mistook Brinkley for her daughter. The former swimsuit star had posted a carousel of images on Instagram posing in front of a retro red Ford F-100 truck to promote her prosecco brand, drawing widespread attention from her 1.7 million followers.
Fans flooded the comment section of the post with messages admiring her youthful appearance. One Instagram user commented, "Please dear Lord let me age like @christiebrinkley," while another follower wrote, "I thought you were your daughter for a second!"

Sailor, who works as a Ford Model, is Brinkley's daughter from her 12-year marriage to architect Peter Cook, which ended in 2008. Brinkley, who authored the book Uptown Girl, is also a mother of two other children from previous marriages.
Her eldest child is 40-year-old daughter Alexa Ray Joel, whom she welcomed during her nine-year marriage to five-time Grammy-winning singer Billy Joel before their divorce in 1994. Brinkley also has a 31-year-old son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, from her third marriage to real estate developer Richard Taubman, which ended in 1995 after less than a year.
Reflections on Aging and Upcoming Projects
The Michigan-born, Malibu-raised star recently reflected on growing older during a cover story interview for Social Life Magazine in June. Brinkley spoke candidly about the sense of personal freedom that comes with maturing.
"I think that with age you get... freer," Brinkley told the publication. "You do what you wanna do when you wanna do it. I think that there's a freedom that comes with age that's quite wonderful. You don't really care what anybody thinks about your outfit anymore."

She added that maturity brings clarity: "You know what you like. You know what you don't like. And you don't feel like you have to put up with the stuff that you don't like anymore."
A lifelong vegetarian, Brinkley has also been open about her aesthetic choices. She admitted to using "Botox in my forehead two times" and receiving laser treatments, while reportedly limiting injectable fillers to once a year on her marionette lines.
The Hamptons resident continues to manage her clothing brand, Tower Hill. She is next set to appear on screen as the older Kelly opposite actor Steve Guttenberg, who plays the older Mikey, in director Michael W Gray's coming-of-age family comedy American Summer, which debuts in limited US theaters on September 4.
