The comedy series Maloy will premiere on the TNT television channel on August 17 at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time. TNT revealed the broadcast date and released a trailer for the project on its VK channel, with rights to the video belonging to the network.
The series centers on Sasha, a graduate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy, and an experienced police operative nicknamed Maloy. A conflict develops between them concerning corruption cases involving the older officer. Sasha does not suspect that Maloy is actually his father.
Vladimir Yaglych of Five Brides and Timofey Kochnev of Seven Versts to Dawn star in the lead roles alongside Nastasya Samburskaya from Univer. 15 Years Later and Aleksey Rozin from Heart of Parma, among other actors. Ivan Makarevich, director of Chinese Lessons, directed the show.
