Spanish singer Conchita has announced her eighth studio album, La Vida Adulta, which will begin releasing on September 25 ahead of a full February launch.
The rollout will start with the release of the first single on digital music platforms, followed by a new song every three weeks until the full project arrives in February.
The upcoming record will consist of 13 tracks structured as 13 chapters. In a social media message posted on September 1, Conchita explained that the project represents a narrative she has been working to tell for a long time, written in her house, in her car, and through voice notes on both good and difficult days.

Album structure and production details
Conchita shared that she erased material, restarted, modified lyrics, and changed melodies during the creative process, noting that she has also changed personally along the way. She realized that all 13 songs formed part of a single story about growing up, falling in love, building a life, getting lost within it, and trying to find oneself again.
The singer highlighted the extensive work involved in producing the record and expressed gratitude to the collaborators helping to bring her vision to life. She noted that the instrumental preview included in her announcement post serves as the album intro, which was composed by Francis Hernández.
Conchita also acknowledged her right-hand collaborator Patricia de Lucas, describing her as an essential figure in her music career.

Return after La Bola de Nieve tour
This new musical era arrives a year and a half after Conchita concluded her previous concert tour for her album La Bola de Nieve. That tour came to an end on April 3, 2025, following the album's release on April 21, 2023.
On the final night of that tour, the singer informed her audience that she would need time away from the stage to organize her new creations and shape her upcoming music. La Vida Adulta will mark her eighth official studio album, discounting her two EPs and the special reissue of her album Incendios.
