The Daily Mail has launched The Spotlight US, a new weekly newsletter delivering celebrity scoops, scandals and gossip from Hollywood. The free newsletter is curated by the Daily Mail's LA Showbiz Editor, Andrew Court.

The Spotlight US launched on Tuesday and lands in subscribers' inboxes every Tuesday at 11am. The newsletter promises breaking celebrity news, exclusives from the Daily Mail's entertainment and investigative reporters, and what the publication calls the hottest tea in Hollywood, spanning red carpet gossip, courtroom surprises, film set secrets and five-star scandals.

Readers can also expect glamorous, and not-so-glamorous, photos of the world's biggest stars in every edition.

What The Spotlight US Offers

Beyond the reporting, the newsletter will feature a new weekly game called Guess Who?, designed to test readers' celebrity knowledge, along with content the Daily Mail says will not appear anywhere else.

Court will draw on the Daily Mail's wider showbiz team to compile the newsletter each week, pulling together what he and colleagues hear, see and uncover across the entertainment industry.

Meet LA Showbiz Editor Andrew Court

Court joined the Daily Mail in Sydney, Australia, in 2016 while training to become an English teacher, before deciding to pursue entertainment journalism instead. More than a decade of covering entertainment has since built him a network of sources and produced numerous encounters with celebrities themselves.

Since taking charge of the Daily Mail's Los Angeles showbiz coverage, Court has staked out celebrities at the Chateau Marmont hotel, picked up inside gossip on Gwyneth Paltrow at a Goop event, and dined with publicists and network executives willing to share what it is really like working with A-list stars.

The Daily Mail said Court and the wider showbiz team will now share the best of what they hear, see and uncover with Spotlight US readers every week. Sign-ups for the newsletter are open now.
