Demi Lovato, 34, will perform at Rock in Rio 2026 on Saturday, marking the singer's first shows in Brazil in three years. The Rock in Rio concert is the opener for a short run of three performances on Brazilian soil.
Lovato takes the festival's Palco Mundo, or Main Stage, on the same day that the American band Maroon 5 headlines the event. After Rock in Rio, she will travel to Sao Paulo for two further shows at the Suhai Music Hall, a live music venue in the city, on September 15 and 16.
Touring behind a new album
Lovato is currently on the road with her "It's Not That Deep" tour, named after her ninth studio album, which came out in October 2025. For the Brazilian dates, she is expected to blend songs from that record with career staples such as "Cool for the Summer" and "Heart Attack."
The singer may also slot in a surprise song during the set, a practice she has followed throughout this year's tour, using the moment to play tracks that have not featured in her regular recent setlists.
A shorter set for a festival slot
Because Lovato is not the headline act at Rock in Rio, her setlist is expected to be trimmed compared with a standard solo concert. The shorter time slot typical of a festival performance means she is likely to lean more heavily on her best-known hits rather than deep cuts.

About Rock in Rio and the bill
Rock in Rio is one of the world's best-known music festivals, first held in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and now also staged in cities including Lisbon and Las Vegas. Maroon 5, the Grammy-winning pop rock band fronted by Adam Levine and known for hits such as "Sugar" and "Moves Like Jagger," headlines the Palco Mundo on the same night as Lovato's set.
Lovato first became known as a Disney Channel star before building a pop music career built on hits including "Sorry Not Sorry," "Heart Attack" and "Confident," several of which are expected to feature in the Rock in Rio performance.
