Emily Atack has joked that August was "a bit of alright" after marrying her partner Alistair Garner two weeks ago. The Rivals actress, 36, shared a photo album on Instagram recapping the month, which included highlights from a wedding celebration held at the couple's Bedfordshire home.
Atack and Garner, 40, are now preparing for a second wedding ceremony abroad, which she has said will take place in Spain, in the coming weeks.
Photos From The Month
In one mirror selfie included in the album, Atack showed off her toned midriff in a black bra and leggings. In another, more sporty picture, she wore a black and white leotard paired with a Burberry tote bag, her hair pulled back into a ponytail.
Also included was a photograph from her wedding day itself, showing Atack laughing beside a cake decorated with iced figures of herself and Garner.
Other pictures from the album included one taken on a stage with a recording studio visible in the background.
Wedding Celebrations
Amid their wedding celebrations, Atack and Garner enjoyed a boozy evening with friends, during which Garner serenaded the group on his guitar and smoked cigars. More wholesome moments captured in the album included the couple enjoying ice lollies with their two-year-old son, Barney, and a holiday with Atack's mother, actress Kate Robbins.
Announcing the wedding on Instagram at the time, Atack wrote: 'Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. I can't believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks time. Christ, we have fun don't we.'
Friends were quick to congratulate the couple in the comments. Author Elizabeth Day wrote: 'Stunning. So so happy for you both! Congratulations,' while Will Manning added: 'go on!!! congratulations.'
The Wedding Dress And Reception
Atack wore a £2,325 Josephine Scott dress for her first wedding, choosing the brand's Juliette gown, which featured a plunging neckline and lace detailing on the sleeves. The dramatic design also included shoulder pads and was worn with a long veil and a diamond-encrusted headband.
Garner wore a black suit and brown shoes for the ceremony. The couple were pictured enjoying a glass of fizz by the church before travelling to their wedding breakfast in a vintage silver car. Their reception continued at their countryside home, where guests were treated to a McDonald's McFlurry ice cream van.
Second Wedding In Spain
Earlier this year, Atack revealed details of her second wedding, describing the event abroad as a 'fat, f***-off party.' She said she had enjoyed the planning process, telling Luxury London Magazine: 'I think I've nailed it. We're getting married in September. I've very much enjoyed the planning process. Choosing napkins and stuff. I'm like, 'My God, my life is here!''
After speculation over the location of the September ceremony, Atack confirmed she would be marrying Garner abroad, which is thought to be somewhere in Spain. She told the publication: 'Life is good. It doesn't get much better than where I am now.'
Atack, who is known for her role in Rivals, got engaged to Garner, a scientist, in July last year, having welcomed their son in 2024.
