Actor Jansen Panettiere, younger brother of actress Hayden Panettiere (“Scream 5”), was found dead in New York on Sunday (2/19). The cause of death is still unknown, but “TMZ” reports that there is no suspicion of foul play. He was only 28 years old.
Born on September 25, 1994 in Palisades, New York, the actor started working in Hollywood in the early 2000s. His first television appearance was in the series ‘Mano a Mana’ (2000-2003).
He then continued to do voice acting in animations such as “Ice Age 2” (2006) and “Family X” (2005-2006), and also received a Young Artist Award nomination, in 2008, for the film “The Last Day of Summer” (2007). In the Nickelodeon film he plays the protagonist Luke Malloy, a musician who doesn’t want his school holidays to end.
Jasen has also featured in episodes of popular series like ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ (2005-2009) and ‘The Walking Dead’ (2010-2022). He also appeared with his sister in two projects: “O Cruzeiro dos Tigres” (2004) and “Deu Zebra!” (2005). His latest acting job was in the Christmas comedy ˜Love and Love Not’ which came out last year.
In addition to his work as an actor, Jansen also had a keen interest in the visual arts and produced graffiti and shoe designs. The artist had a handful of projects in development and there are four productions with the actor yet to be released: ‘American Game’, ‘Justice Angel’, ‘Horse’ and ‘Aaah! Roach!’.
Actress Hayden Panettiere has yet to comment on her younger brother’s death. They were close and shared photos together on their social media.
