Shakira and Karol G. confirmed their musical collaboration after several weeks of rumours. The singers recently gave the release date for the song they announced as ‘TQG’, which is speculated to be dedicated to their respective former partners, Anuel AA and Gerard Piqué.
This Tuesday, February 21, the Colombians made a joint post through Instagram in which they talk about the topic that they will start together in next February 24.
“We know you’ve been waiting and here we are KarolG x Shakira TQG. February 24 00:00, Barranquilla, Medallo,” he writes at the bottom of the image in which they are both on the ground kneeling, possibly in one of the scenes from the music video for his song.
‘TQG’, an acronym for the song that his fans have interpreted as ‘You was big’, will be released alongside Karol G’s new album ‘Tomorrow will be beautiful’, which he announced on February 10.
‘La Bichota’ surprised her followers in early February when she previewed the artwork of her new record, which will also include other collaborations with artists such as Carla Morrison and Romeo Santos.
