Coach Accused Of Making Death Threats To Actress Says He Was Misunderstood: ‘You Can’t Shoot Someone’

Thiago Schutz spoke out on social media after Livia La Gatto exposed the messages received from the influencer and opened a police file against him

After being accused by the actress Livia La Gatto after having threatened her with death with a message, the coachman known as ‘bald from Compari’, Thiago Schutz, took to social media to comment on the matter. On the night of this Monday 27, the influencer published a video on social media in which he defends that his jokes have been misinterpreted and that “he would be incapable of shooting or injuring someone”.

“I’m a guy who uses a lot of slang, swears a lot, it’s how I communicate. I’m not ashamed to talk like that. And then when I use the word ‘bullet’, it’s not ‘bullet’ in the literal sense. Make that very clear to everyone. It’s in the sense of ‘let’s solve this problem.’ ‘This problem needs to be solved.’ ‘Is it a process or let’s do it another way.’ I think this problem of the word ‘bullet’ has been very misunderstood,” he said Thiago in the recorded video.

The case had repercussions after the actress exposed the messages received from Thiago Schutz. The influencer, who became a meme on social media after sexist statements on the Buteco Podcast podcast, took offense at a video in which the artist makes fun of men who spread hate speech against women.

Without mentioning his name, the satire pokes fun at the misogynistic claims of someone with fragile masculinity. Then, Thiago sent her the following message on Instagram: “You have 24 hours to remove your content about me. After that, it’s trial or bullet. Your choice.” In Estadão, the press office of Livia La Gatto confirmed that the actress has opened a police report against the coach to request a precautionary measure.

Also in this Monday’s press release, the influencer continued to argue his point of view. “I’m 34 years old, no criminal record, I don’t carry a gun, I don’t belong to a shooting club, I wouldn’t be able to shoot or injure anyone. This is a point I think everyone should make clear.. My goal has always been to help people, not just men, but women too,” she guaranteed.

Schutz also attributed sending the message to alleged attacks he was receiving on social media. “Things went a little over the top. From a simple joke, involving a drink, it progressed to a series of lies and other attacks that came my way. I would say with conviction that this is why that message it arrived in someone’s box,” he added. “I have never had and have no interest in taking anyone’s life or threatening anyone,” concluded the coach.

Previously, Livia had even shared, on her Instagram profile, the news of having denounced Thiago and said: “This boy speaks daily to an army of men with their fragile masculinity, questioning the few rights that women have earned “.

“It’s hate speech to any woman who doesn’t agree to be submissive. It’s speech that provides arguments for men who rape, harass and kill women because they are insecure in their masculinity,” she mused.

“(…) Misogyny is not an opinion. And, as an artist, I will make fun of it. Yes, I will ridicule in my videos, any manifestation that belittles women. And if you feel uncomfortable, take it better” , he concluded. .
