After conquering Internet users for participating in Ivete Sangalo’s band during Carnival, Marcelo, the singer’s son, has gone viral again. Now, the boy has surprised the singer’s followers by showing the radical change of look that he has undergone.
In a video dancing “Cria da Ivete”, one of the most acclaimed songs of the Carnival, Marcelo appears, initially, with long hair. Then the 13-year-old boy with bobbed hair appears.
In the comments, followers joked about Marcelo’s resemblance to his parents. “Guys, the transition from Ivete to Daniel,” wrote one. “He is the exact mix of you and Daniel,” said another. “With long hair: Ivete. With short hair: Daniel. In the end, it’s all the same!”, analyzed a third.
Marcelo has already been bullied at school because of his looks
Daniel Cady said recently in an interview with “The Noite” that Marcelo has already been bullied at school. According to Daniel, his son’s 100% healthy diet started to become a problem as Marcelo got older.
“There came a time when he said ‘my father, I want to take something in a package. I want to open it.’ There was already bullying of “look at the little monkey, he only eats bananas”. We need flexibility and this more welcoming vision,” Ivete’s husband said.
