This is how Evaluna and Camilo would plan to “BAPTIZE” Indigo

Just over a month after the birth of Indigo, the eldest daughter of Evaluna and Camilo, it is revealed that she will probably not be baptized as a baby.

According to E! News, the daughter of Ricardo Montaner and the interpreter of “Expensive Clothes” will raise Indigo as a Christian, so they will present her before God only in a small ceremony.

The event, which will take place at Vous Christian Church in Miami, Florida, will be attended only by Evaluna, Camilo, igndigo and Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., who married the singers in 2018.

Unlike Catholic baptism, for the Christian ceremony it is not necessary for the babies presented to have godparents, but special prayers are said to ask for their good.

A few weeks ago, Manuela Echeverry, Camilo’s sister, shared a message on her Instagram account calling her Indigo christening, which she speculated would be her godmother.

Indigo could be baptized when she grows up

Since in the Christian religion people are baptized until they reach a certain age and are aware of the moment in which they live, Indigo is very likely to be baptized when they grow up.

As explained in Active Christianity, in Christian baptism the individual is immersed in water to symbolize the end of a way of life and the beginning of something new.

It is the people who are “committed to giving their lives to follow Jesus, to obey the word of God and to live a new life” who can be candidates for baptism, he adds.

So far, Evaluna and Camilo have not commented on whether or not they will christen Indigo, whom they keep out of the limelight and have not even featured on social media.

Evaluna practices the Christian religion and involves Camilo in it

Since she was born, Evaluna has practiced the Christian religion, as has her famous father, Ricardo Montaner, and the rest of her family.

In fact, it was because of her belief that Indigo’s mother hesitated for a while to form a love affair with Camilo.

“Before I said I wanted to marry a Christian boy, I used to say it when I was a little girl and when I met Camilo he did not believe in the same thing as me,” Evaluna told ¡Hola! Mexico.

The interpreter of “For the first time” revealed that Camilo “asked her the difficult questions”, which in time helped her to understand that he was the right man for her life.

“I knew amazing Christian men, we went to the same church and everything else, but they did not ask me the questions that made me look for more spirituality and that was really what God knew I wanted, so when he started asking me the right questions “to start looking for an answer to him and to get more into my relationship with God, that’s where I said he was the guy for me,” he said.

Now, Camilo and Evaluna share the Christian religion and have grown up together in their faith.
